The Story Behind “Who Is Allen Nile”:
One of the most asked questions we receive at our store is: “Who is Allen Nile?” So I decided to answer this question simply because I think it has a very interesting history behind it!
Let me start by saying who I am… My name is “Dave Nosker”. I am the founding owner of Allen Nile. When I started the company many years ago, I came to the conclusion that my own name (first or last) would not make for a great company name. So the search began with looking for the perfect name. After spending many days trying to find that perfect company name, I had pretty much resigned to the fact that I just could not find the name that I really liked.
One day during a morning phone conversation with my Mother and kicking around some ideas, it was brought to my attention the fact that I have two middle names. “Allen” and the other “Nile”. Why in the world am I someone who was given two middle names? “That is a whole other story”.
So being fortunate to have two middle names, the company name was born as “Allen Nile”. I guess it have been named “Nile Allen” but for some reason it just did not roll of my tong as well. 
There you have it! Is Allen Nile a person? well yes, partially. I still have customers that I personally meet who call me “Allen Nile”. And that is ok since the name has some very personal meaning to me.
So when pondering over “Is Dave Nosker actually Allen Nile” or “is Allen Nile actually Dave Nosker”, The answer I am proud to say is “YES“!
With that said, it is very important for me to mention that the company name of Allen Nile represents so much more than a single person. The name is simply a name. But it also represents an entire family business that is comprised of many, not just the efforts of one. For example, just to name a few…
LouAnn Nosker; As operations manager she is the heart and sole of keeping our business running smoothly on a day to day basis. This includes the actual operation of the store and the online world. She has invented and developed some of Allen Nile’s finest anti-aging skin creams along with many other offerings.
Without her, Allen Nile would not be here today. In fact, the company would have never been started. thanks to her consistent efforts and always pushing forward, the entire company keeps going in positive directions!
Harmony Nosker; Our daughter has blessed us with MANY ideas that we have used to improve our business. While her main gig in life is pursuing her modeling career, she always finds time to help at our store. You will also see Harmony appearing in the near future in many of our upcoming product demonstration. videos.
It is Harmony who is always there to cheer us up with her smiles and great sense of humor and puts the needed comedy in our daily lives!
Shampayne Nichols; This little cutie is actually just one of the many grand children we have. (Brandy’s Daughter) Why is she displayed here? Because many times she has been seen in our store greeting customers and explaining to them our products and how they are fresh made.
We believe that children are truly the future. Perhaps you will see Shampayne someday running Allen Nile!
So you see, the name Allen Nile really describes a team of people (even family and children). So when you tell others about the products you purchased from “Allen Nile”, you are really talking about more than just one individual name.
